Use case

Remote asset monitoring

Assets nobody can stand next to — drainage nets, remote cameras, equipment at the far end of the property — checked on a schedule, with a word when something changes.

How it works

Checked on a schedule, not when someone remembers.

For assets that are far away, spread out, or simply too many to visit, Cyrus does the looking.

Scheduled checks

Each asset is checked at the interval you choose — every day, every hour, every minute — from the cameras already pointed at it.

Condition-aware frequency

Checks speed up when it matters: a drainage net is looked at every few hours when rain is forecast, daily when it isn't.

A word when something changes

A net that's filling, an animal at the gate, equipment that looks different from yesterday — flagged to you, with the snapshot.

Examples

Two remote assets Cyrus watches today.

Both run on ordinary cameras at the site, checked by Cyrus so nobody has to drive out.

Rural areas

Drainage net monitoring

Cameras on drainage nets at creek crossings check whether a net is full and needs clearing — the kind of job that otherwise means driving out to look.

Cyrus checks each net on a regular schedule, checks more often when rain is on the way, and flags the nets that need attention before they overflow.

The Cyrus drainage-net monitor: two creek cameras, each marked not full, with regular and flooding check schedules and the rainfall forecast.
The drainage-net monitor: each net's status, its regular and wet-weather check schedules, and the rainfall forecast it uses.
Livestock

Fox detection

A camera on a rural property watches through the night for foxes. When one appears, Cyrus recognises it and alerts the owner within seconds — early enough to protect the animals, instead of finding out in the morning.

Each detection is kept with a snapshot and the time, so you can see what visits the property and how often.

The Cyrus fox-detection app: a night-time camera at a property's front door, marked active, with the last detection logged.
The fox-detection app: a night camera on the property, with the last detection and alert logged.
Where it's used

Industries this is configured for.

The same use case, set up for the sites and risks of each industry.
