Rural area & livestock monitoring

The same platform, configured for the countryside: tell Cyrus what to watch for and it alerts you when it happens.

How it's configured

Tell Cyrus what to watch for. It does the rest.

Cyrus isn't a different product for every job. The same platform runs on the cameras you already have; you describe what matters and what should happen when it's seen.

Connect the cameras you have

Cyrus runs on your existing cameras and sensors — on an edge device at the site, in the cloud, or both.

Say what matters, in plain language

Describe what to watch for the way you'd tell a colleague — no per-event model training, no vendor project.

Choose what happens

Continuous watching or scheduled checks; alerts to a phone or email, a report, or a work order in your existing tools.

Examples

The same platform, configured for the countryside.

Different problems, different properties — the same Cyrus, told what to look for.

Livestock

Fox detection

A camera on a rural property watches through the night for foxes. When one appears, Cyrus recognises it and alerts the owner within seconds — early enough to protect the animals, instead of finding out in the morning.

Each detection is kept with a snapshot and the time, so you can see what visits the property and how often.

The Cyrus fox-detection app: a night-time camera at a property's front door, marked active, with the last detection logged.

Drainage net monitoring

Cameras on drainage nets at creek crossings check whether a net is full and needs clearing — the kind of job that otherwise means driving out to look.

Cyrus checks each net on a regular schedule, checks more often when rain is on the way, and flags the nets that need attention before they overflow.

The Cyrus drainage-net monitor: two creek cameras, each marked not full, with regular and flooding check schedules and the rainfall forecast.
The drainage-net monitor: each net's status, its regular and wet-weather check schedules, and the rainfall forecast it uses.
More solutions

The same platform, configured differently.

Every solution here runs on the same Cyrus platform and the cameras you already have — what changes is the configuration.
